Meeting Mickey Mouse Himself!!!!

The epitome of the family Disney trip.... meeting Mickey.  We did it and it was everything I ever hoped it would be.
We went to Minnie's house first and toured around.  It was so crowded, but so cute.  Then after Minnie's house we walked on over to Mickey's.  I though maybe it was closed because there was nobody there.  But when we walked in, we found that it was opened.  We looked around the house a bit and then went into the back yard where Mickey himself hangs out sometimes.
There was another building for us to go into to get to him so we wondered on in.  We were in line for maybe 30 minutes and then it was time for our big moment...

At first Drew was a bit nervous around Mickey.  We took our pictures and he was a little reserved.   Then Maggie took her pictures with Mickey.  She was adorable as usual!

Then Drew was starting to get comfortable with Mickey, but our turn passed.  I was devastated for him because he told me he wanted to hug Mickey and I thought he had missed his chance.  The lady working the line heard him and told him that he could hug Mickey.  She scooted him in front of the people that were next and let him have another try.

It warmed my heart to see the interaction.  Mickey was thrilled that he was able to hug Drew finally and Drew ran to Mickey for his hug.  It was the sweetest moment.
