School is out and the first few weeks of summer have been fun! The other day, Drew took Sam, his senior buddy from school, out to lunch to congratulate him on his graduation, acceptance to Johns Hopkins University, and to tell him he wished him the best of luck at college.
Ok, so maybe our idea of Drew "taking someone out to lunch" is we'll-meet-you-there-and-we'll-sit-at-another-table-out-of-sight-from-y'all-so-you-can-have-a-private-lunch-while-not-having-to-worry-about-the-possible-responsibilities-of-taking-a-little-boy-out (i.e. going to the bathroom or cleaning up spilled chocolate milk).
But anyways, Drew was proud to take Sam out to lunch.
It's been a great year with Sam and he's made Drew so happy and feel so comfortable and special at Cannon. We're so glad that we were able to have him as Drew's Senior Buddy!
