About Southern Mamalogue

This is a place for me to journal and document our journey as a family.  It is a place for our far-away-family and friends to peek in and keep in touch.  But most of all, this is a place for my children to see their childhood through their mama's eyes.
If you've been following "Southern Mamalogue," you know it is very important to me to preserve every moment I can.  It is all flying by so quickly and I want to hold on to it all.  I guess I am a "hoarder of memories."  I can't let them go.  So this is the perfect place for me to keep them tucked away.
After losing my parents, I realized that through pictures, all I had were birthdays, Christmases, and special occasions.  I'm not sure what everyday-life looked like.  I have my own memories, but I don't know what it looked like or if in my memory, I have altered what really happened.
I want my kids to be able to look through their childhood and see it through my perspective.  It is really important to me to pass along our family memories to them.
So here is where I report our busy day-to-day life, what we like, what we learn, along with the mistakes we make.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
